On April 7, 2018, my son Gabriel and I decided we’d head ouf for town with the intention of making an improvised short film. I would jog and he’d ride his bike until some idea would cross our mined. When we arrived at the Place de la Monnaie, in the town centre, Gabi stopped to listen to a boy playing music. And right next to him was this gorgeous Harley Davidson motorbike standing. I pulled out my camera. I knew something would happen, even though I wasn’t sure yet of what.
A few minutes later, I got the idea: Gabi would ride a Harley Davidson. Fortunately, Cenk, the Harley owner was also the owner of a shop around and he played along, allowing us to sit on and shoot whatever we needed.
After some 30 minutes of improvised shooting, and two hours of editing, the next day, the film was complete.
It was fun to make and, objectively saying, my son Gabriel is a natural!
